    RULING – The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants on Thursday for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and the leader of the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, Al-Masri, known as Mohammad Deif. The Hague-based court’s Pre-Trial Chamber rejected Israeli challenges to its jurisdiction and said there were sufficient grounds to believe that Netanyahu and Gallant committed war crimes and crimes against humanity by approving attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip. The ICC also issued a warrant Thursday for the arrest of Muhammad Deif, Hamas’ military chief. Israel said in August that it had killed Deif but Hamas has not confirmed his death.

     

    ENERGY – The Bucharest Government on Friday adopted the national energy strategy for the next 10 years, with an extension until 2050. It aims at gradually shifting from coal-based production to natural gas-based production, which is less polluting, and, in the medium and long term, to nuclear energy. Three other economic strategies were also on the Government’s agenda. The first is the Romanian industrialization strategy for the period 2024-2030. This involves the transition of Romanian industry towards clean energy. The second strategy is the one regarding non-energy mineral resources and aims to develop an integrated chain in the mining industry, from research, exploitation and development to processing. The third national strategy is the one for market surveillance. It is about a single market and the need, on the one hand, to guarantee the free movement of products in the European Union and, on the other hand, to make sure that these products meet quality standards.

     

    ELECTION – The first round of the presidential election takes place in Romania on November 24. The second round is scheduled for December 8, and legislative elections are held on December 1. There are 13 candidates in the race for president, 10 supported by parties and 3 independents. There are 14 names on the ballots, but one of the candidates withdrew in favor of another. The authorities opened 950 polling stations for Romanians outside the borders, a record number. They can vote, in the first round of the presidential election, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

     

    TRACTORS – Small Romanian farms that own old and polluting tractors will be able to buy new ones by applying to the “Tractors Scrap” program. The budget allocated to the project by the administration of the environmental fund is 500 million lei (the equivalent of about 100 million Euros). The registration of the companies from which farmers can purchase the tractors starts on Friday and can be done until November 28 at the latest. The vouchers acquired by farmers will cover between 65% and 80% of the purchase value, which should not exceed 55,000 Euros.

     

    TOURISM – The autumn edition of the 2024 Romanian Tourism Fair opened on Thursday in Bucharest. Visitors have access to a wide range of promotional packages, exclusive discounts and holiday ideas for all tastes and budgets, the organizers say. More than 100 participating companies offer destinations from all over the world, and discounts on vacation packages during the fair are up to 50%. Among the participants are tour operators from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Israel, Austria, Hungary, Egypt, Vietnam and Italy.

     

    EC – The right-wing, centrist and social democratic parties in the European Parliament reached, on Wednesday evening, a political agreement to approve the new European Commission makeup. The Romanian Roxana Mînzatu will thus become Executive Vice-president for People, Skills and Preparedness in the European Commission led by Ursula von der Leyen. The European Parliament will give its final vote on the new EC membership on November 27, in a plenary session in Strasbourg.

    VOTE The Chamber of Deputies in Bucharest on Tuesday turned down the simple motion tabled by the opposition USR and Force of the Right against the Social-Democratic Minister of Agriculture Florin Barbu. At the yesterday’s debates, the opposition criticized the way in which the minister handled the farmers’ protests at the beginning of the year but also the fact that he positively evoked the name of Romania’s former communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu. At the same time, the initiators said that Minister Barbu defied the Romanians who are paying higher prices at the market and in shops on a daily basis, whereas he is only promoting the interests of his party. In turn, Barbu said the motion contained many falsehoods through which the signatories want to spark off confusion and irritation in order to get political capital in this election year.

     

    DAY The Romanian Cultural Institute and its representations abroad are staging a series of cultural events marking 106 years since the Union of Bessarabia with Romania, which are celebrated on Wednesday. A painting exhibition is to be launched at Romania’s Art Museum, which puts on display 100 works by artists from the Republic of Moldova while the National Theatre in Bucharest is staging three shows, involving actors from the two countries. The capital of the Republic of Moldova, Chisinau, will be seeing a classical music concert given by the National Chamber Orchestra including Romanian compositions and works by foreign composers.

     

    RESOLUTION The presidents of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, of the European Council, Charles Michel, and of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, have welcomed a United Nations resolution calling for the first time for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The UN Security Council adopted the resolution with 14 votes in favour and with the United States’ abstaining, demanding an immediate ceasefire during the month of Ramadan, which ends on 9th April, and leading to a lasting ceasefire. The resolution also calls for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages held by Hamas. The war in Gaza, which began five months ago, has so far killed over 32,000 people and injured more than 74,600, with most of the population of Gaza facing an imminent threat of starvation, according to Palestinian sources quoted by EFE. In response to the United States’ decision to abstain, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cancelled an Israeli visit to the US. According to Radio Romania’s correspondent in Israel, Netanyahu’s decision is yet more proof of the worsening of Israeli-US relations.

     

    FINANCE Romania is still facing vulnerabilities relating to its external and fiscal accounts, the European Commission warned in an in-depth review of six member states published on Monday. According to the report, “the large current account, large government deficits and high inflation rate, which are all above pre-pandemic levels, make the economy potentially vulnerable to shocks”. So far, Romania has not had difficulties in covering its financing needs owing to its solid economy, medium-term growth and low debt levels. The report also notes that Romania’s hard currency reserves seem “broadly adequate”, covering almost five months of imports and more than 100% of short-term external debt at the end of 2023.

    Romanian Prime Minister visits Israel

    High-profile
    politicians from all over the world have visited Israel or are about to in
    order to express solidarity with this country, hard hit by the Hamas terrorist
    attacks, looking of ways to avoid a regional war. Romania’s Prime Minister,
    Marcel Ciolacu, was also one of the European leaders that visited Israel on
    Tuesday. During his meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu,
    Prime Minister Ciolacu conveyed a message of compassion on behalf of Romanian
    society for the victims of the October 7 attack. Bucharest is concerned about
    the consequences of the terrible attacks on the civilian population, both
    Israelis and Palestinians, Marcel Ciolacu said, adding that Romania continues
    to promote peace and will stand with its allies in these troubled times.


    I decided to visit
    Israel today because, in such troubled times, such as the ones experienced
    today by the Israeli people, a country’s friends and partners must show their
    solidarity. Romanian society, the Israeli community in Romania and the Romanian
    community in Israel mourn the death of innocent women, children and youth,
    killed in the Hamas terrorist attack. Romania has firmly condemned the attacks
    in Israel, the atrocities committed by Hamas, a terrorist organization that
    holds the Palestinian population hostage to accomplish its extremist goals. The
    Romanian Parliament was one of the first legislative bodies among democratic
    states to adopt a resolution expressing solidarity with the State of Israel.


    Marcel Ciolacu called
    for the immediate release of all hostages and people abducted and for avoiding
    all acts of aggression, in particular targeting civilian population. The Prime
    Minister insisted on opening humanitarian corridors in Gaza and providing
    assistance to refugees. Marcel Ciolacu thanked Israeli authorities for taking action
    to support the repatriation of Romanian citizens. Over 2,000 Romanian nationals
    were brought home from Israel. The Foreign Ministry is monitoring another 350
    Romanians and their families in Gaza, of whom some 200 have called for
    assistance to get home. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured his Romanian
    counterpart that Israeli authorities will do everything in their power to help
    evacuate Romanians from Gaza and thanked Romania for its show of solidarity.
    The civilized world should rally behind Israel in its fight to eradicate Hamas.
    No one could make peace with Daesh (The Islamic State, ISIS, e.n.), no one
    could make peace with Al-Qaeda, no one could make peace with the Nazis. They
    must be defeated, and then we shall have peace, the Israeli Prime Minister
    pointed out. At the special meeting of the European Council held by video
    conference, Romania’s president Klaus Iohannis strongly condemned the Hamas
    terrorist attacks in Israel. Romania unequivocally supports Israel’s legitimate
    right to defend itself, which should observe the standards of international
    humanitarian law, the Romanian president added. (VP)

    Nume importante
    ale politicii internaţionale s-au deplasat în Israel sau urmează să o facă
    pentru a-şi exprima solidaritatea cu această ţară, greu lovită de atacurile
    comise de gruparea teroristă Hamas, dar şi pentru a căuta căi de ieşire de pe
    ruta periculoasă ce poate duce spre un război regional.


    Premierul României, Marcel
    Ciolacu, s-a numărat, marţi, printre liderii europeni care au mers în Israel.
    La întâlnirea cu omologul său, Benjamin Netanyahu, şeful Guvernului de la
    Bucureşti a transmis compasiunea societăţii româneşti pentru victimele conflictului
    pornit pe 7 octombrie. Bucureştiul este foarte îngrijorat de consecinţele
    violenţelor teribile asupra populaţiei civile, israeliene şi palestiniene, a
    transmis prim-ministrul. România rămâne un promotor al păcii şi va fi alături
    necondiţionat în aceste momente dificile de aliaţii săi.


    Marcel Ciolacu: Am
    decis să vin astăzi în Israel deoarece, în astfel de momente dificile, precum
    cele trăite în prezent de poporul israelian, partenerii şi prietenii trebuie
    să-şi demonstreze solidaritatea. Societatea românească, comunitatea de
    israelieni din România şi cea de români din Israel deplâng victimele
    nevinovate, femei, copii, tineri în floarea vârstei în urma atacurilor
    teroriste declanşate de Hamas.

    România a condamnat cu fermitate cele întâmplate
    în Israel în ultimele zile, nivelul atrocităţilor comise de Hamas, o grupare
    teroristă care ţine ostatică populaţia palestiniană pentru a satisface
    interesele sale extremiste. Parlamentul României a fost primul for legislativ
    din rândul statelor democratice care a adoptat în şedinţă comună o declaraţie
    de solidaritate cu statul israelian.


    Marcel Ciolacu a cerut eliberarea
    imediată a tuturor ostaticilor şi persoanelor răpite şi abţinerea de la orice
    act de agresiune, mai ales împotriva populaţiei civile. El a insistat asupra
    deschiderii coridoarelor umanitare din Gaza şi oferirii de asistenţă
    refugiaţilor. Marcel Ciolacu a mulţumit pentru implicarea autorităţilor
    israeliene şi pentru sprijinul acordat la repatrierea românilor. Peste 2.000 de
    cetăţeni români au fost repatriaţi din Israel, iar Ministerul român de Externe
    are în atenţie şi 350 de cetăţeni români şi membri de familie care sunt în Gaza,
    dintre care 200 au cerut asistenţă de repatriere.


    Premierul Benjamin Netanyahu
    l-a asigurat pe omologul său român că autorităţile israeliene vor face tot ce
    le stă în putinţă pentru a ajuta la evacuarea românilor din Fâşia Gaza şi a
    mulţumit pentru solidaritatea României.


    Lumea civilizată, a mai
    spus Netanyahu, ar trebui să se unească în spatele Israelului în lupta împotriva grupării Hamas. Nimeni nu ar putea face pace cu Daesh (n.red: Stat Islamic sau
    ISIS), nimeni nu ar putea face pace cu al-Qaida, nimeni nu poate face pace cu
    naziştii, trebuie să fie învinşi şi atunci va fi pace    , a subliniat premierul
    israelian.


    La reuniunea extraordinară a Consiliului European, în format
    videoconferinţă, preşedintele Klaus Iohannis a condamnat ferm atacurile
    teroriste de pe teritoriul Israelului. România susţine fără echivoc dreptul
    legitim al Israelului la autoapărare, care trebuie exercitat în conformitate cu
    dreptul internaţional umanitar, a mai afirmat liderul român.

    représentants importants de la scène politique internationale se sont déplacés ces
    jours-ci en Israël ou s’y rendront prochainement pour exprimer leur solidarité
    avec ce pays, durement touché par les attentats commis par le groupe terroriste
    Hamas. Les dirigeants visent aussi à trouver des sortie de cette voie dangereuse
    qui pourrait mener à une guerre régionale.


    Le premier
    ministre roumain, Marcel Ciolacu, compte parmi les dirigeants européens qui se
    sont rendus en Israël ce mardi. Lors de sa rencontre avec son homologue
    Benjamin Netanyahu, le chef du gouvernement de Bucarest lui a fait part de la
    compassion de la société roumaine pour les victimes du conflit qui a débuté le
    7 octobre dernier. Aux dires du premier ministre roumain, Bucarest est très
    préoccupé par les conséquences des violences terribles envers la population
    civile israélienne et palestinienne. Et lui d’ajouter que la Roumanie est un
    promoteur de la paix et se restera inconditionnellement aux côtés de ses alliés
    dans ces moments difficiles.

    Ciolacu : « J’ai décidé de venir en Israël aujourd’hui
    parce que, dans des moments aussi difficiles que ceux que le peuple israélien
    vit actuellement, les partenaires et les amis doivent faire preuve de solidarité.
    La société roumaine, la communauté des Israéliens de Roumanie, ainsi que la
    communauté des Roumains en Israël pleurent les victimes innocentes, les femmes,
    les enfants, les jeunes, suite aux attaques terroristes lancées par le groupe Hamas.
    La Roumanie a fermement condamné ce qui s’est passé en Israël ces derniers
    jours, ainsi que le haut niveau des atrocités commises par le groupe Hamas, un
    groupe terroriste qui tient en otage la population palestinienne pour
    satisfaire aux intérêts extrémistes. Le Parlement roumain a été le premier
    forum législatif parmi les Etats démocratiques à adopter en session conjointe
    une déclaration de solidarité avec l’Etat d’Israël. »



    Marcel Ciolacu a
    demandé la libération immédiate de tous les otages et personnes kidnappées et l’abstention
    de tout acte d’agression, notamment contre la population civile. Il a insisté
    sur l’ouverture de couloirs humanitaires à Gaza et sur l’urgence d’offrir de l’assistance
    aux réfugiés. Marcel Ciolacu a remercié les autorités israéliennes pour leur implication
    et le soutien accordé au rapatriement des Roumains d’Israël.


    Ces derniers
    jours, plus de 2 000 citoyens roumains ont été rapatriés d’Israël, et le
    ministère roumain des Affaires étrangères envisage également le rapatriement de
    350 citoyens roumains et des membres de leurs familles se trouvant à Gaza, dont
    200 ont demandé l’aide au rapatriement. Aux dires du premier ministre Benjamin
    Netanyahu, les autorités israéliennes feront tout ce qui est en leur pouvoir
    pour aider à évacuer les Roumains de la Bande de Gaza. Il a également remercié
    la Roumanie pour sa solidarité. Et lui d’ajouter que le monde civilisé devrait
    s’unir aux côtés d’Israël dans la lutte contre l’éradication du groupe Hamas. « Personne
    ne peut faire la paix avec Daesh, personne ne peut faire la paix avec Al-Qaïda,
    personne ne peut faire la paix avec les nazis, ils doivent être vaincus et
    alors il y aura la paix, » a martelé le responsable israélien.



    Par ailleurs, lors de la réunion extraordinaire en visioconférence
    du Conseil européen, le président roumain Klaus Iohannis a fermement condamné
    les attaques terroristes sur le territoire d’Israël. Selon lui, la Roumanie
    soutient sans équivoque le droit légitime d’Israël à l’autodéfense, qui doit
    être exercé conformément au droit international humanitaire.

    România rămâne un stat consecvent în cadrul relaţiilor sale din Orientul Mijlociu şi îşi menţine atitudinea de promotor al păcii, va fi alături, necondiţionat, în momentele dificile, de aliaţii săi, a transmis marţi prim-ministrul Marcel Ciolacu, la finalul întrevederii avute cu omologul israelian Benjamin Netanyahu.

    România rămâne un stat consecvent în cadrul relaţiilor sale din Orientul Mijlociu. (…) Suntem extrem de îngrijoraţi de spirala crescândă a violenţelor cu consecinţe teribile asupra populaţiei civile, atât israeliene, cât şi palestiniene. Vreau să îi asigur pe românii din ţara noastră că ne menţinem atitudinea de promotori ai păcii, dar vom fi alături, necondiţionat, în momentele dificile, de aliaţii şi prietenii noştri, a precizat Marcel Ciolacu.

    Şeful Executivului de la Bucureşti a arătat că în discuţiile purtate cu premierul israelian a transmis acestuia că, în faţa atacurilor Hamas, Israelul are dreptul să se apere, în deplin respect cu dreptul umanitar şi a făcut un apel pentru facilitarea coridoarelor umanitare din Gaza.Sunt convins că întreaga comunitate internaţională se va implica pentru deschiderea coridoarelor umanitare şi pentru a oferi asistenţă necesară refugiaţilor, a declarat Ciolacu.

    Premierul român a transmis mulţumiri omologului său israelian pentru implicarea autorităţilor israeliene şi pentru sprijinul acordat repatrierii în siguranţă a peste 2.200 de cetăţeni români din Israel şi a reiterat necesitatea şi urgenţa unei păci durabile în Orientul Mijlociu.

    Şi îmi doresc un efort comun pentru evacuarea în siguranţă a cetăţenilor români din Fâşia Gaza, pentru ca astfel de momente să nu se mai întâmple, a mai afirmat Ciolacu.

    La rândul său, Premierul israelian Benjamin Netanyahu a transmis omologului său român, Marcel Ciolacu, mulţumiri pentru solidaritatea arătată de România Israelului în faţa atacurilor Hamas. Lumea civilizată trebuie să fie unită în spatele Israelului şi să lupte pentru eradicarea Hamas, a spus Netanyahu. Şi a dat asigurări că autorităţile israeliene vor face tot ce le stă în putinţă pentru ajuta la evacuarea românilor din Fâşia Gaza, în măsura în care acest lucru este posibil.

    Nimeni nu poate face pace cu Dash, nimeni nu poate face pace cu Al Qaeda şi nimeni nu poate face pace cu naziştii. Ei trebuie să fie învinşi, atunci vom avea pacea, a afirmat Benjamin Netanyahu.

    Din delegaţia României în Israel mai fac parte ministrul Apărării Naționale, Angel Tîlvăr, ministrul Afacerilor Externe, Luminița Odobescu, deputatul Silviu Vexler, președinte al Federației Comunităților Evreiești din România, și ambasadorul României în Israel, Radu Ioanid.

    Comunitatea evreilor originari din România, stabiliţi în Israel, este una dintre cele mai importante, datorită numărului şi contribuţiei aduse la înfiinţarea şi dezvoltarea statului. România şi Israel sunt legate printr-o relaţie privilegiată, reconfirmată, marţi, la Ierusalim, de premierii Ludovic Orban şi Benjamin Netanyahu. Această relaţie este reflectată de dialogul politic aprofundat, intensificarea cooperării economice şi cooperarea consolidată în domeniile apărării şi securităţii.


    Cei doi au salutat lansarea, 1 octombrie, a grupului de lucru România- Israel în domeniul economic şi au încurajat iniţiativele concrete în arii de interes comun, precum agricultura şi managementul apei, sănătatea, înalta tehnologie şi inteligenţa artificială. Şefii celor două guverne au evocat posibilitatea producţiei comune a unui vaccin împotriva Covid – 19 şi au abordat perspectivele cooperării bilaterale în domeniul securităţii energetice.


    Premierul Ludovic Orban: În toate discuţiile, am abordat problema consolidării relaţiilor dintre România şi Israel, problema adâncirii cooperării în foarte multe domenii de activitate, atât în domeniul apărării, cât şi în domeniul sănătăţii. Se ştie că Statul Israel are un sistem medical performant, că este extrem de avansat în foarte multe ramuri ale medicinei, şi o cooperare în domeniul sănătăţii, mai ales în contextul pandemiei, este foarte utilă. Am discutat şi de posibile proiecte concrete în acest domeniu. De asemenea, am discutat despre cooperarea în domeniul agriculturii şi mai ales în domeniul îmbunătăţirilor funciare.


    Cu ocazia întrevederii a fost semnat Protocolul de modificare a Convenţiei bilaterale pentru evitarea dublei impuneri şi prevenirea evaziunii fiscale cu privire la impozitele pe venit. Acesta este menit să contribuie la promovarea investiţiilor străine directe şi la stimularea schimburilor comerciale.


    Şeful guvernului de la Bucureşti a fost primit de preşedintele statului Israel, Reuven Rivlin, care a lăudat eforturile României în privinţa asumării trecutului, promovării memoriei Holocaustului şi combaterii antisemitismului şi a salutat proiectul construirii Muzeului Naţional de Istorie a Evreilor şi al Holocaustului din România.


    Premierul român a avut convorbiri şi cu şeful diplomaţiei de la Ierusalim, Gabi Ashkenazi, în cadrul cărora şi-a exprimat încrederea că normalizarea relaţiilor Israelului cu Emiratele Arabe Unite, Bahrein şi Sudan va contribui la stabilitatea şi securitatea Orientului Mjlociu. În ce priveşte procesul de pace din zonă, prim-ministrul a reafirmat susţinerea Bucureştiului pentru o soluţie cuprinzătoare şi durabilă, cladită pe soluţia celor două state, Israel şi Palestina, care să coexiste în pace şi securitate, singura opţiune viabilă care răspunde aspiraţiilor ambelor părţi. Ministrul israelian a apreciat poziţia echilibrată şi moderată a României în acest dosar.

    tests, and 120 infected people who died in
    24 hours, the total number of deaths in Romania reaching 7,273. Since the end
    of February, 258,437 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have
    been confirmed in Romania. 181,175 of them have been declared cured. Currently,
    11,897 people with COVID-19 are hospitalized in specialized health units, of
    whom 974, the largest number so far, are in intensive care. In a press
    conference, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis has stated that Romania expects
    to receive the first tranche of COVID vaccine in the first quarter of next
    year, stressing that the first to benefit from vaccination will be those in the
    medical system and people at risk, with the vaccination of the entire
    population starting in the spring at the earliest.






    Pandemic. The total number
    of new coronavirus infections has exceeded 47.3 million worldwide, the death
    toll has exceeded 1.2 million, and the number of people cured is over 34
    million, according to Worldometers.info. The worst affected are the United
    States, Brazil and India. Against the background of the resurgence of
    coronavirus cases in Europe, several states are introducing new restrictions to
    curb the spread. Austria is in partial quarantine for at least four weeks in an

    terrorist alert remains ‘blue-cautious’ in Romania, the Romanian Intelligence Service informed on
    Tuesday. The October attacks in France (in Paris, Nice and Avignon), as well as
    in Austria (in Vienna) on November 2, confirm that the threat to Europe is
    current and on an upward trend, even if the continent is faced with a deep
    health crisis, reads the service’s Facebook page. The model in recent years has
    been maintained: small-scale attacks, with weapons that can be easily procured
    (white or firearm), organized by individuals, difficult to identify, who have a
    jihadist ideological affiliation, but no proven links with terrorist
    organizations. The Romanian Intelligence Service also says that sensitive
    issues, such as the caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad, have once again proved
    to be the trigger for a series of attacks, but their real motivation is
    jihadist-terrorist, based on the ideology of global jihad, in which the West and Christianity are
    considered enemies of the Muslim world. The Vienna attack, committed in a
    Central European country free from significant terrorist attacks in recent
    history, is a warning that any state in Europe can be a target for terrorists,
    the Romanian Intelligence Service also warns.








    Cooperation. The mutual
    interest of Romania and Israel is to expand and deepen the dialogue in various fields,
    said on Tuesday in Tel Aviv, Prime Minister Ludovic Orban, in joint statements
    with his counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu. Ludovic Orban expressed his gratitude
    for the excellent cooperation with the Israeli authorities in the management of
    the Covid-19 pandemic and said that, in addition to the health sector, ways to
    strengthen the already consistent political dialogue will be explored, with a
    view to developing economic relations and strengthening cooperation in the
    field of defense and security. A Romanian-Israeli Economic Working Group,

    decided to withdraw the citizenship of the former Romanian Social-Democratic
    deputy Cristian Rizea, convicted for corruption. He stated that Rizea should be
    deported to Romania, where he received a final sentence of 4 years and 8 months
    in prison, in a case in which he was found guilty of influence peddling and
    money laundering. The Bucharest press had long stated that Rizea was hiding in

    Le plan de paix américain pour le Moyen Orient

    Le leader palestinien, Mahmoud Abbas, vient de rejeter à nouveau, devant le Conseil de Sécurité des Nations-Unies, le plan de paix proposée par le président américain Donald Trump. Le plan de paix américain est un cadeau pour Israël, affirme haut et fort le leader palestinien. Le plan prévoit que la partie Est de Jérusalem demeure hors la Palestine, ce qui est parfaitement inacceptable, et constitue à lui seul un motif suffisant de rejet, précise le même Mahmoud Abbas. Et brandissant à bout de bras une copie de la carte qui transposait la solution américaine au conflit israélo-palestinien, Mahmoud Abbas, prend l’assistance à témoin pour dénoncer l’emmental troué auquel ressemble à s’y méprendre les contours de l’Etat palestinien concocté par Washington. Un Etat divisé, fragmentaire, dépourvu du contrôle de ses espaces aérien et maritime.

    « Qui, parmi vous, accepterait un tel Etat ?», harangue le leader palestinien, interpellant les 15 membres du Conseil de sécurité, tout en dénonçant la situation d’apartheid dont sont victimes les Palestiniens. Le « plan du siècle », soit la proposition de paix de Donald Trump, et dessiné par son conseiller et beau-fils Jared Kushner, reconnait l’autorité d’Israël sur ses colonies et exige des Palestiniens de remplir plusieurs conditions avant de pouvoir fonder une capitale dans l’une des villes de Cisjordanie, à l’Est de Jérusalem.

    Le correspondant de Radio Roumanie en Israël, Dragoş Ciocîrlan: « Le président palestinien, Mahmoud Abbas, a déclaré devant le Conseil de sécurité des Nations-Unies que le plan de paix permettant la création d’un Etat palestinien sur 70% du territoire de la Cisjordanie bafouille les droits du peuple palestinien à l’autodétermination et à l’indépendance. Selon le leader de l’Autorité de Ramallah, il s’agirait d’un plan censé faire une croix sur les revendications palestiniennes. Il dénonce le statut réservé à Jérusalem, même si jamais un Etat palestinien à proprement parler n’a exercé sa souveraineté sur la ville sainte. Abbas a félicité la réaction des Palestiniens, qui sont sortis dans la rue pour protester contre le plan de Washington, et s’est déclaré convaincu que les Palestiniens et les Israéliens ont vocation à s’entendre entre eux, sans autres immixtions externes. Par ailleurs, l’ambassadeur d’Israël aux Nations-Unies, Danny Danon, a appelé à des négociations directes israélo-palestiniennes, affirmant se méfier de la volonté de paix affichée par le président de l’Autorité palestinienne qui, selon lui, devrait se trouver à Jérusalem autour d’une table de négociations, plutôt que devant le Conseil de sécurité de l’ONU, et prenant comme exemple l’attitude du président égyptien Anwar el Sadat, qui a parlé depuis la tribune du Knesset avant de signer le traité de paix avec Israël. »

    La paix entre Palestiniens et Israéliens reste toujours possible, mais certainement pas dans les termes édictés par l’administration Trump, qui ne fait qu’essayer de légaliser une illégalité, concluait Mahmoud Abbas. De l’autre côté, le plan de paix américain est appuyé par le premier ministre israélien Benjamin Netanyahou, mais également par son principal rival politique israélien, Benny Gantz. « Si les Palestiniens étaient véritablement prêts à faire la paix avec l’Etat juif, Israël serait prêt à négocier », a affirmé Netanyahu, plaidant par la même occasion pour le désarmement du Hamas et la démilitarisation de la bande de Gaza. Mais par-delà le bruit des déclarations, les agences de presse n’ont pas manqué de remarquer qu’il s’agit bien d’une première dans ce conflit, car c’est pour la première fois qu’a été arraché l’accord d’Israël sur une carte où ont été dessinées les frontières des deux Etats voisins.

    Invité à Radio Roumanie, l’analyste politique Iulian Chifu croit savoir qu’en dépit des dissensions affirmées, il se peut que le plan de paix proposé contienne pas mal de points de convergence. Iulian Chifu : « Je ne pense pas que ce plan doive être jeté aux oubliettes, parce qu’il contient un certain nombre d’éléments qui pourraient être mis à profit dans le cadre d’une négociation directe, même si ces éléments prendraient d’autres formes ultérieurement. Peut-être qu’il est grand temps de peser soigneusement le pour et le contre, car il est certain que le plan de paix recèle un certain nombre d’éléments intéressants. Il faudrait le reconsidérer de façon plus bienveillante. Il représente une tentative de mettre fin à un conflit ancien et extrêmement compliqué, qui a vu des générations entières y passer. »

    Il est certain qu’il est difficile de parler de réconciliation dans le contexte où l’on a vu 4 ou 5 générations se succéder dans une confrontation sans fin. Après 70 ans de conflit, il serait peut-être grand temps d’y mettre un terme, concluait encore Iulian Chifu. (Trad. Ionuţ Jugureanu)

    rumänische Verfassungsgericht hat am Mittwoch zum Teil die Benachrichtigung der
    Regierung zugegeben, die einen Rechtskonflikt verfassungsrechtlicher Natur
    forderte, als der rechtsgerichtete Präsident Klaus Iohannis sich weigerte, die
    von sozialdemokratischen Ministerpräsidentenin Viorica Dăncilă vorgeschlagenen
    Interimsminister zu ernennen. Der Gerichtshof entschied unter anderem auch,
    dass der Präsident im Rahmen einer von der PSD beschlossenen Regierungsumbildung
    verpflichtet war, das Dekret über den Widerruf von Anna Birchall aus der Justiz
    zu unterzeichnen. Nach Angaben des Verfassungsgerichtes ist die Entlassung
    der Minister und die Einrichtung des Interimsreferats die Aufgabe des
    Premierministers. Der Präsident muss die diesbezüglichen Dekrete unterzeichnen.
    Er hat die Ablehnung der Umbildung unverzüglich zu begründen, ist jedoch nicht
    verpflichtet, die Minister zu benennen. Andererseits muss die Premierministerin
    Viorica Dăncilă nach dem Rückzug von ALDE aus der Regierung, was die politische
    Struktur der Exekutive verändert hat, ins Parlament zu einem Vertrauensvotum
    für das Regierungsteam kommen. Gleich nach der Bekanntgabe der Entscheidung des
    Verfassungsgerichts erklärte Viorica Dăncilă, das Staatsoberhaupt habe einen
    Missbrauch begangen, mit Zynismus und Nachlässigkeit gegen die Verfassung
    verstoßen und eine Regierungsblockade ausgelöst. Sie fügte hinzu, sie werde mit
    einem neuen Regierungsvorschlag ins Parlament gehen, für den sie ein
    Vertrauensvotum fordern werde. Präsident Klaus Iohannis erklärte seinerseits in
    einer Pressemitteilung, dass er seine Entscheidungen zur Umsetzung der Antwort
    des Verfassungsgerichts nach der Veröffentlichung der Motivation
    des Gerichtshofes treffen werde.

    Die rumänisch-polnische Zusammenarbeit
    hat sich zu einer starken, tragfähigen und zukunftsorientierten strategischen
    Partnerschaft entwickelt – erklärte die rumänische Ministerpräsidentin Viorica Dăncilă in einer gemeinsamen
    Erklärung mit dem polnischen Amtskollegen Mateusz Morawiecki in Bukarest. Die
    rumänische Hauptstadt war Gastgeber der zweiten Runde bilateraler
    Regierungskonsultationen nach der im Mai in Warschau. Die Runde am Mittwoch
    fand anlässlich des Jubiläums eines Jahrzehnts strategischer Partnerschaft,
    drei Jahrzehnten demokratischen Regimes und eines Jahrhunderts diplomatischer
    Beziehungen statt. Die Fortschritte bei der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Rumänien
    und Polen wurden überprüft und die Richtwerte für die künftige Zusammenarbeit
    festgelegt. Es wurden Absichtserklärungen zu den Themen Infrastruktur, Verkehr,
    Energie, Kommunikation und Digitalisierung, Unternehmertum, Verwaltung
    europäischer Mittel und Zusammenarbeit der Polizeiakademien unterzeichnet.
    Einvernehmlich wurde vereinbart, dass die zwischenstaatlichen Treffen
    fortgesetzt und die rumänisch-polnische Koordinierung auf regionaler,
    europäischer und euro-atlantischer Ebene vertieft werden soll. Ebenfalls am
    Mittwoch wurde Ministerpräsident Mateusz Morawiecki vom rumänischen Präsidenten
    Klaus Iohannis empfangen.






    Ein vom Finanzminister Eugen
    Teodorovici vorgelegtes Gesetz über die Besteuerung von Sonderrentenleistungen ist
    am Mittwoch vom Senat verabschiedet worden, nachdem es am Dienstag vom
    Haushaltsausschuss genehmigt wurde. Das Dokument betrifft einen Steuersatz von
    30% auf Sonderrenten zwischen ca. 1.480 und 2.115 Euro und einen Steuersatz von
    50% auf Renten über diesem Schwellenwert. Die Senatoren beschlossen auch, dass
    Vergütungen des Staatspräsidenten,
    die rund 1.480 Euro übersteigen, steuerpflichtig sein sollten. Der Gesetzentwurf
    wird an die Abgeordnetenkammer, das diesbezügliche Entscheidungsgremium,
    weitergeleitet.








    Die meisten EU-Bürger, die im
    vergangenen Jahr in Teilzeit arbeiteten (26% der Gesamtzahl), haben angegeben,
    keine Vollzeitstelle zu finden, während weitere 24% sich für Teilzeitarbeit
    entschieden haben, weil sie sich um Kinder oder behinderte Erwachsene
    kümmerten, wie aus heute vom Europäischen Statistikamt, Eurostat,
    veröffentlichten Daten hervorgeht. Der höchste Prozentsatz der Personen, die
    2018 Teilzeit arbeiteten, weil sie keine Vollzeitstelle fanden, wurde in
    Griechenland (70%), Italien (66%), Zypern (65%), Bulgarien (59%), Spanien
    (56,5%) und Rumänien (54,9%) gemeldet. Die niedrigsten Quoten wurden in Estland
    (6%), Belgien, der Tschechischen Republik und Slowenien (je 7%) sowie in den
    Niederlanden (8%) gemeldet. Rund ein Fünftel der Gesamtzahl der erwerbstätigen
    EU-Bürger war im vergangenen Jahr in Teilzeit beschäftigt, was 31,2 Millionen
    Frauen und 9,5 Millionen Männern entspricht.






    Der israelische Premierminister
    Benjamin Netanyahu und sein Herausforderer Benni Gantz stehen Schulter an
    Schulter, mit je 32 Sitzen im neuen Parlament, so das Wahlergebnis vom
    Dienstag, nachdem über 92% der Stimmen gezählt wurden. Die israelischen Medien stellen jedoch fest, dass
    keiner von ihnen genügend Verbündete für eine Regierungsmehrheit hat. Die
    Partei Israel unser Zuhause, deren 9 Sitze in der Knesset sie für
    eine regierende Koalition unentbehrlich machen, schlug eine Regierung der
    nationalen Einheit vor, aber ihr Führer Avigdor Lieberman ist einer der Gegner
    Netanyahus. Laut dem Korrespondenten von Radio Rumänien würden israelische Bürger
    einem neuen Wahlkampf nicht zustimmen, und der Präsident des Landes versprach, eine dritte vorgezogene Wahl
    zu vermeiden.

    Visite – En visite de travail en Israël, la première ministre roumaine, Viorica Dancila, a rencontré aujourdhui son homologue Benjamin Netanyahu. Loccasion pour les deux responsables de saluer les relations bilatérales excellentes, dont témoignent les fréquents contrats de haut niveau. Ils ont également discuté dune réunion commune des gouvernements roumain et israélien qui pourrait se tenir dans la première moitié de cette année. Loccasion pour Mme Dancila de reconfirmer lintérêt de la Roumanie de renforcer et dapprofondir les relations avec Israël, notamment dans le domaine de la coopération stratégique, de la cyber-sécurité, de la sécurité énergétique, de la médecine, de la recherche et de linnovation. Les deux premiers ministres se sont déclarés contents du progrès des négociations en vue du Partenariat entre la Roumanie et Israël dans le domaine des nouvelles technologies. Enfin, ils ont souligné limportance de renforcer les relations bilatérales dans la santé, le tourisme et léducation.



    Défense européenne – Une réunion des directeurs politiques des ministères de la Défense des Etats membres de lUE a eu lieu, jeudi et vendredi, à Bucarest, dans le cadre de la présidence roumaine du Conseil de lUE. Des thèmes importants ont été présents à lagenda de la réunion, telles la sécurité et la défense de lUE, la coopération entre lUE et lOTAN dans le cadre des exercices communs, lavenir de la défense européenne, les évolutions et les perspectives de la Coopération structurée permanente (CSP). Selon le communiqué du ministère roumain de la Défense, la réunion a constitué une bonne opportunité pour préparer la Réunion informelle des ministres de la Défense des pays membres de lUnion, qui aura lieu les 30 et 31 janvier à Bucarest.



    Economie – La Roumanie enverra au mois de mars une mission économique à Salonique, suivie par deux autres missions – Athènes et Serres – au 3e trimestre de cette année. Lannonce a été faite vendredi par le président de la Chambre de Commerce et dIndustrie de Bucarest, Sorin Dimitriu, en ouverture du Forum daffaires roumano-grec. Notons aussi que, fin 2018, la valeur des échanges commerciaux entre la Roumanie et la Grèce dépassait un milliard deuros, soit une croissance de 15% par rapport à 2017. A préciser aussi que la Grèce se classe 9e parmi les plus importants investisseurs de Roumanie.



    Entreprises – En Slovaquie, le nombre des compagnies ayant des actionnaires roumains a plus que doublée ces 6 dernières années arrivant à 1362 sociétés, fait savoir une compagnie locale cité par la publication Solvak Spectator. Le plus grand nombre de compagnies roumaines – 165 au total – a été créé en Slovaquie en 2017 et 2018. Une tendance similaire est à remarquer en République tchèque, où le nombre de sociétés ayant des actionnaires roumains a connu une hausse de 179% entre 2014 et 2018. Dans les deux pays mentionnés, ces sociétés sont actives dans le domaine du commerce, des services, du transport routier et du BTP.



    Grippe – En Roumanie, 18 personnes sont décédées en cette saison froide à cause de la grippe. Parmi les victimes, mentionnons un bébé de dix mois et un jeune de 17 ans. Le Ministère de la Santé a annoncé plus de 1100 cas de grippe la semaine dernière par rapport à 80 durant la même période de lannée passée. A lheure où lon parle, sur les 1,3 millions de doses de vaccin dont la Roumanie a disposé en cette période, il en reste encore quelque 100.000. Les spécialistes sattendent à ce que le nombre de cas de grippe se multiplie les jours à venir. Pour sa part, le ministère de la Santé rappelle à la population que la vaccination est la solution la plus sûre et la plus efficaces de prévenir la grippe.



    Tennis – Samedi, à lOpen dAustralie, la Roumaine Simona Halep, la numéro 1 mondiale, rencontrera lAméricaine, Venus Williams, au troisième tour du premier tournoi du Grand Chelem de lannée. Samedi encore, Irina Begu et Mihaela Buzarnescu joueront au tableau du deuxième tour contre le duo Alizé Cornet, de France/Petra Martic, de Croatie. Vendredi, le duo roumain formé dIrina Bara et de Monica Niculescu sest qualifié dans les 8e de finale de lépreuve de double dames. Par ailleurs, la paire Sorana Cîrstea – Jelena Ostapenko sest inclinée devant Andreja Klepac (Slovénie) et Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez (Espagne).



    Météo – Dans les 24 prochaines heures, le temps sera plutôt morose sur lensemble de la Roumanie. On attend quelques flocons de neige sur le Carpates Orientales et Méridionales et sur les collines du sud et de lest du pays. Le vent sera plus fort dans le sud et le sud-ouest. Les températures maximales iront de moins 2 à 5 degrés.

    Tel Aviv: Die rumänische Premierin Viorica Dăncilă ist am Freitag mit dem israelischen Premier Benjamin Netanyahu zu Gesprächen zusammengekommen. Die beiden haben die ausgezeichneten bilateralen Beziehungen begrüßt und sich auf die Organisierung einer gemeinsamen Sitzung der beiden Regierungen in der ersten Jahreshälfte geeinigt. Im Anschluss betonte die Premierin Dancila das Interesse Rumäniens für die Konsolidierung und die Verstärkung der strategischen Kooperation in den Bereichen Cyber-und Energiesicherheit, Medizin, Forschung und Innovation. Dancila und Netanjahu haben sich im Anschluss über den Stand der Verhandlungen zum rumänisch-israelischen Abkommen im Bereich der neuen Technologien zufrieden gezeigt.



    Bukarest: Am Donnerstag und Freitag hat in Bukarest ein Treffen der Direktoren für Politik in den Außenministerien der EU-Staaten stattgefunden. Angegangen wurden bedeutende Themen bezüglich der Sicherheit und der Verteidigung des EU, darunter die Zusammenarbeit zwischen der EU und der NATO im Rahmen der gemeinsamen Übungen, die Zukunft der europäischen Verteidigung, die Entwicklungen und die Pespektiven der dauerhaften strukturierten Kooperation. Laut einer Mitteilung des Verteidigungsministerium war das Treffen ein guter Anlass für die Vorbereitung des informellen Treffens der EU-Verteidigungsminister vom 30. und 31. Januar in Bukarest.



    Berlin: Der rumänische Präsident Klaus Iohannis wird auf Einladung der deutschen Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel und des französischen Präsidenten Emmanuel Macron am Dienstag in Aachen an der Feier zur Unterzeichnung des deutsch-französischen Kooperations- und Integrationsabkommens teilnehmen. Bei dieser Gelegenheit wird Präsident Iohannis als Präsident des Landes, das die amtierende EU-Ratspräsidentschaft innehat, eine Rede halten. An der Feier sollen auch der Präsident des Europäischen Rates Donald Tusk und der EU-Kommissionschef Jean-Claude Juncker teilnehmen. Das bilaterale Abkommen von Aachen beruht politisch und rechtlich auf dem deutsch-französischen Elysee-Vertrag von 1963, der die Grundlage für eine historische Aussöhnung zwischen Deutschland und Frankreich bildet. Der Aachener Vertrag zielt darauf ab, die Beziehungen zwischen den beiden Staaten an die Herausforderungen des 21. Jahrhunderts anzupassen und dabei den Zusammenhalt der Maßnahmen beider Länder auf europäischer Ebene hervorheben.






    Berlin:     Rumänische Lebensmittelprodukte werden am Freitag auf einer Berliner Messe mit dem Titel Grüne Woche 2019“ präsentiert. Nach Angaben des rumänischen Landwirtschaftsministers Petre Daea, der an der Veranstaltung teilnimmt, nehmen mehrere rumänische Hersteller von traditionellen Produkten an der Messe teil. Zu den traditionellen Lebensmitteln, die ausgestellt werden sollen, gehören die Pflaumenkonfitüre Topoloveni, der geräucherte Donauhering, die Plescoi-Würstchen und die Dobrogea-Torte. Am Rande der Messe wird der rumänische Landwirtschaftsminister mit seinen Amtskollegen aus anderen Mitgliedstaaten und Vertretern von Landwirtschaftsverbänden in der EU zu Gesprächen zusammenkommen. Im vergangenen Jahr lag die Besucherzahl der internationalen Messe bei 400.000.






    Belgrad: Der russische Präsident Wladimir Putin hat am Donnerstag Belgrad besucht, wo er für die Stabilität des Balkans plädierte, der seiner Ansicht nach eine vom Westen bedrohte Region ist. Er erinnerte daran, dass die Russische Föderation einer der größten Investoren in der serbischen Wirtschaft sei. Energie sei ein Schlüsselbereich der bilateralen Zusammenarbeit. Neben historischen, religiösen und kulturellen Bindungen danken die Serben den Russen für die Unterstützung, die sie in Bezug auf die Unabhängigkeit des Kosovo gewährt haben. Zwanzig Jahre nach dem Krieg zwischen den Serben und den separatistischen Kosovo-Albanern erkennt Moskau die Provinz Kosovo immer noch nicht an. Serbien ist zwar ein Kandidat für einen EU-Beitritt, weigert sich jedoch, die Sanktionen des EU-Blocks gegen Russland zu unterstützen, die nach der Annexion der ukrainischen Halbinsel Krim durch Russland verhängt wurden.





    Bukarest: Für das Jahr 2018 hat der Autobauer Dacia mit einem Gesamtabsatz auf dem nationalen und internationalen Markt von mehr als 700 Tausend Autos, also 7% mehr als im Jahr 2017, die beste kommerzielle Leistung in seiner Geschichte. Die Verkaufszahlen auf dem externen Markt stiegen um 5,5% und erreichten mehr als 646 Tausend Fahrzeuge. Das Ergebnis gilt somit als die beste in Europa verzeichnete Leistung. 1999 wurden die rumänische Marke Dacia und die Autofabrik Mioveni von der französischen Unternehmensgruppe Renault übernommen. Die Autos Dacia werden in 44 Ländern auf 4 Kontinenten verkauft.



    Sport: Das rumänische Doppel Irina Maria Bara / Monica Niculescu hat am Freitag bei den Australian Open den Einzug ins Achtelfinale geschafft. Das Tournier in Melbourne gilt als das erste Grand Slam-Turnier des Jahres. Das rumänische Doppel setzte sich mit 6: 4, 7: 6 gegen Lucie Hradecka (aus Tschechien) und Ekaterina Makarova (aus Russland). Als nächstes werden Bara und Niculescu auf die Gewinner des Spiels zwischen Margarita Gasparian (Russland) / Daria Gavrilova (Australien) und Raquel Atawo (USA) / Katarina Srebotnik (Slowenien) treffen. Ebenfalls am Freitag sind Sorana Cirstea aus Rumänien und die Lettin Jelena Ostapenko im Spiel gegen das slowenisch-spanische Doppel Andreja Klepac / Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez ausgeschieden. Carstea und Ostapenko verloren in zwei Sätzen, 7-5, 6-3. Im Achtelfinale des Tourniers sollen am Samstag Irina Begu und Mihaela Buzarnescu gegen das Doppel Alize Cornet (Franţa) / Petra Martic (Kroatien) antreten.     Sofia: Die rumänische Premierin Viorica Dăncilă hat beim Gipfel Rumänien-Bulgarien-Serbien in Warna erklärt, die drei Staaten sollten mehr im Bereich energetische Sicherheit, insbesondere durch die Diversifizierung der Versorgungsquellen machen. Ministerpräsidentin Dancila bekräftigte im Anschluss das Interesse Rumäniens für die Bildung einer Arbeitsgruppe, die die Machbarkeitsstudien für den Bau einer neuen Autobahn in der Region und neuer Brücken über der Donau überprüfen soll. Am Treffen in Warna nahmen ihre Gegenüber von Bulgarien und Griechenland, Boiko Borisov und Alexis Tsipras, sowie der serbische Staatschef Aleksandar Vucic und der israelische Premier Benjamin Netanyahu teil. Vorher hatten sich die Premierminister aus Rumänien und Israel auf die Organisierung eines Wirtschaftsforums geeinigt, das der Knüpfung von Kontakten im Geschäftsbereich gewidmet werden soll.



    XXX : Die EU-Kommissarin für Regionalpolitik Corina Creţu hat erneut erklärt, dass die rumänischen Behörden kein großes Finanzierungsprojekt außer der Ubahn-Linie M6 in Bukarest vorgelegt haben, um europäische Finanzmittel zu beantragen. Bukarest habe alle Termine längst verpasst, an denen es Projekte für Regionalkrankenhäuser und drei Autobahnen vorlegen sollte, sagte die rumänische EU-Kommissarin für Regionalpolitik Corina Creţu.



    Bukarest: Der rumänische Verteidigungsminister Mihai Fifor hat am Freitag erklärt, Rumänien habe seine Ziele hinsichtlich der Ausstattung der Armee für 2018 erzielt. Fifor hob hervor, Rumänien sei ein verantwortungsvoller Partner der NATO und fügte hinzu, es sei das zweite Jahr, in dem die Regierung 2% des BIP der Verteidigung zuteile. Der rumänische Verteidigungsminister sagte desweiteren, die rumänischen Soldaten seien weiterhin in Kriegsschauplätzen, bzw in Polen, im Rahmen einer NATO-Partnerschaft präsent.



    Bukarest: Die Vorsitzenden der Regierungskoalition PSD – ALDE sind am Freitag zusammengekommen, um die Haushaltsanpassung für dieses Jahr und den Haushaltsplan für das kommende Jahr zu besprechen. An Gesprächen beteiligte sich auch der Finanzminister Eugen Teodorovici. Auf der Agenda der Gespräche stand zudem die Gründung eines Souveränen Fonds für Entwicklung und Investitionen. Gesprochen wurde zudem über die Unternehmen, die sich daran beteiligen sollen, die Reduzierung der Zahl der Stellen in Ministerien und staatlischen Agenturen und eine eventuelle Erhöhung des Mindestlohns bis zum 1. Dezember.



    Bukarest: Die Schweiz soll ab Mai 2019 alle Arbeitseinschränkungen für rumänische Arbeitnehmer abschaffen, hat am Donnerstag in Bukarest der Bundespräsident der Schweiz Alain Berset bei einem Treffen mit seinem rumänischen Gegenüber Klaus Iohannis erklärt. Die Schweiz unterstütze zudem die Kandidatur Rumäniens für die Organisation für Zusammenarbeit und wirtschaftliche Entwicklung. Selbst wenn die Schweiz kein EU-Land ist, werde das Land Rumänien bei der EU-Ratspräsidentschaft unterstützen. Bukarest soll den EU-Ratsvorsitz ab dem 1. Januar 2019 übernehmen.
